- Explain the interrelated link between athlete?s experience with harassment & abuse, and mental health presentations
- Outline the importance of sport medicine clinicians having clinical competence in the prevention, recognition, and management of athlete mental health; particularly when suffering from the impacts of harassment & abuse in sport
- Discuss the athletes? perceptions of occurrence of harassment and abuse in sport
- Explain the athletes? lack of understanding of the term ?safe sport;? and lack of awareness of reporting mechanisms such that the development of educational prevention strategies is at the appropriate level.
